Happy Friday morning, Charleston! I hope you had a peaceful, harmonious family gathering yesterday. And continued to question, like me, why the #@! Dallas Cowboys should have a monopoly on making Thanksgiving Day more nauseating.

I ran a poll the last 2 weeks asking whether you’d like to join a CHS Happenings dinner club. It wasn’t close.

My plan is to have the first dinner club in January. Stay tuned for announcements.

Anyone want me to put together a holiday gift guide with local artists & makers? If y’all give this a thumbs-up, I’ll probably ask for your input next week on some creative folks that should be added.

We get a bunch of new subscribers each week, many of whom are transplants. I like to switch back and forth between easy and not-so in our weekly photo-guessing contest. Last week’s “Where Are We” fell under “Easiest Yet” as we had a TON of quick responses.
